D. Work on our plan for next year using our Strategic Plan
Suhaka first brought up us following up our visits to the cities by another set of visits to let them know what we’ve been up to. There was no excitement to visit our cities again.
The Board then suggested a Travel Training for Assisted Living facilities. This will be a project for 2024 in which everyone will need to help. The Travel Training will be done by DRMAC and will take place over Zoom. Each TSAC members will need to call 4 or 5 assisted living facilities to find out if they have residents that are mobile, can leave the facility on their own, and if the facility has a common room with a TV that can run a Zoom. We’re looking at doing the Zoom in Aug. or Sept.
Suhaka will write an “elevator speech” for each member to give to their assisted
living assignments.
There are about 80 facilities in Arapahoe County and if everyone helps only 4 or 5 calls will need to be made. You can probably call at night to ask the questions above.
Kenna Davis spoke up to say her work load wouldn’t allow her to make calls.
